Both this icon because it looks good in the picture, and it is even more beautiful when you have it in front of you. I am not an artist, but I think compared to other icons, it is just beautiful. I bought that particular icon because it has the closest friends of Christ, his disciples, and in the center, of course, his Mother, the Theotokos, and the Archangels. The quality of the icon is very high. The Wood backing is also very solid and well finished and show last a lifetime and be passed on. The one thing beyond that that shows the quality of the packaging and very nice presentational box that it came in which would make a perfect gift if we had not ordered it for ourself. We will be ordering a second Last Supper for our priest as a gift as his has faded or his lifetime.
