About the icon
The Last Supper
On the eve of His Passion, Christ ate the Passover with His twelve disciples, broke bread and blessed the cup, giving them His Body and Blood. The icon shows the apostles gathered at table around the Lord, Saint John leaning on His breast and Judas reaching towards the dish. It is commemorated on Holy Thursday and is traditionally placed above the Royal Doors in churches and often hung in the dining room at home. This Museum Edition faithfully reproduces the icon on a raised panel, its background laid by hand in matte gold leaf.
This is an authentic icon crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. All parts are made by hand and only the theme is reproduced using Advanced Museum Standards Technique.
Once the natural wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the Matte Gold Leaves on the background. Then the theme is directly printed on the prepared surface, resulting to an exquisite work of art.
At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. At the small sized icons a stand is also available. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.
A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.

Absolutely fantastic icons, beautifully made and very high quality. The customer service experience was fantastic, prompt and responsive. I received my gifts with plenty of time for my wife's birthday. Much earlier than I originally expected even.
We are 3 time customers because the quality and care of shipping this icon is unmatched. The colors are so rich and refined it's almost identical to a hand written icon, and this is true not only for the Mystical Supper but also for the others we have (Nativity, Annunciation, Resurrection, Presentation of Christ). Most importantly we trust the source comes from true faith and love for God.
Finest quality icon I have seen and a very affordable price. Thank you for bringing God's light to our home.
Beautiful work, much better than it did, the creators have been nothing but kind to me, AgiografiaIcons is highly recommended <3
