Saint Stylianos of Paphlagonia

The Wonderworker Holy Monk

Stylianos gave away his inheritance and lived as a hermit in a cave in Paphlagonia, devoting himself to prayer. He loved children and, through his prayers, many sick children were healed, so families have long turned to him for help. Icons show him as a monk with a long beard holding a swaddled infant. He is commemorated on 26 November, and his icon is often hung in a child's room or given at a baptism. This Gallery Print reproduces the icon on a carved panel with a gold print finish.

This is an authentic icon crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. All parts are made by hand and only the theme is reproduced using Gold Print Technique.

Once the natural wood panel is cut and carved to the desired dimensions and shape, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the theme with the Gold Print background, resulting to an exquisite work of art.

At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. The hand carved wood shape may have slight differences from the photos shown here. Small details as the Saint’s name and some decorative shapes are also made by hand. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.

A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
