Museum Editions
An authentic icon crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. All parts are made by hand, and only the theme is reproduced.
The panel
The natural wood panel is cut to the dimensions you choose: flat, recessed, engraved, carved or framed, depending on the model.
The ground
Our craftsmen apply the background by hand: 22k, 18k or matte gold leaves, pure silver leaves, gold foil with gilding effect, gold foil, or a blue ground.
The theme
The theme is printed directly on the prepared surface, using our Premium Museum Standards Technique on flat 22k, blue and framed icons, and our Advanced Museum Standards Technique on the others.
The frame
Framed editions are placed into a wooden frame with protecting glass.
The finish
A mounting point and our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality are installed at the back; small recessed icons also take a stand.
