About the icon
The Judge and Lord of All
Christ Pantokrator, Ruler of All, holds the Gospel and blesses, while the twelve apostles are arranged around Him, often in medallions. Together they show the Lord and the foundation of His Church, for the apostles carried His teaching to the ends of the earth. The composition is a fitting centrepiece for a home prayer corner, and the apostles are honoured together at their Synaxis on 30 June. This Gallery Print reproduces the icon on a flat panel with an aged gold foil finish.
This is an authentic icon crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. All parts are made by hand and only the theme is reproduced using Gold Foil Print Technique.
Once the wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the theme with the Gold Foil background, resulting to an exquisite work of art.
At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.
A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
