About the icon
The Blesser and Giver of Grace
In this icon Christ is shown in half figure, holding the Gospel in His left hand and raising His right in blessing. His fingers form the letters IC XC, the abbreviation of His name. His halo bears the cross and the Greek words meaning 'He who is'. It is one of the most familiar icons of the Lord, at home in any prayer corner and often given for a new home or a wedding. In this Silver Relief the icon is presented in gold-plated silver relief on a panel.
This is an authentic Silver Plated artwork with Gold details, crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. The theme is reproduced using Advanced Museum Standards Technique.
Once the wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the printed theme on the prepared surface and then the Silver Plating, resulting to an exquisite work of art.
At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. At the small sized icons a stand is also available. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.
A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
