Mystical Supper

The Last Supper

On the eve of His Passion, Christ ate the Passover with His twelve disciples, broke bread and blessed the cup, giving them His Body and Blood. The icon shows the apostles gathered at table around the Lord, Saint John leaning on His breast and Judas reaching towards the dish. It is commemorated on Holy Thursday and is traditionally placed above the Royal Doors in churches and often hung in the dining room at home. In this Silver Relief the icon is presented in gold-plated silver relief on a panel.

This is an authentic Silver Plated artwork with Gold details, crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. The theme is reproduced using Advanced Museum Standards Technique.

Once the wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the printed theme on the prepared surface and then the Silver Plating, resulting to an exquisite work of art.

At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. At the small sized icons a stand is also available. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.

A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
