The Vision of the Apocalypse, The Seven Lampstands
In the first chapter of Revelation, John hears a voice like a trumpet and turns to see one like the Son of Man, clothed in a long robe, holding seven stars in His right hand and standing amid seven golden lampstands, which signify the seven churches. Overcome, John falls at His feet as though dead and hears the words 'Fear not'. The apostle is commemorated on 26 September and 8 May. In this Silver Relief the icon is presented in gold-plated silver relief on a panel.
This is an authentic Silver Plated artwork with Gold details, crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. The theme is reproduced using Advanced Museum Standards Technique.
