This is an authentic icon crafted according to Byzantine technique and style. All parts are made by hand and only the theme is reproduced using Advanced Silk Screen Technique.
Once the natural wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our skilled craftsmen meticulously apply the Matte Gold Leaves on the background. Then the theme is directly printed on the prepared surface, resulting to an exquisite work of art.
At the back of the icon, a mounting point is installed, accompanied by our Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. At the small sized icons a stand is also available. All of our artworks bear the studio’s distinctive title and logo.
A thorough quality inspection takes place before we secure the package with durable protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
Each icon is made to order. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive the retail receipt and the tracking information via email.
Preparation period of this artwork is 6-10 days.
We deliver worldwide with FedEx & DHL Express, with Standard shipping (8-10 business days) and Express shipping (1-3 business days).
There is a possibility your country's Customs to need some extra time (usually 1-2 days), for the package clearance.
It's indescribable of how beautiful it is. This is my second time ordering from the same icon and getting it in different sizes; 3 of them.
The only issue is I had to pay extra out of pocket just before delivering to UPS due to the darn tariff situation.
It is marvelous and came on the Nativity of the Theotokos, what perfect timing!! It is just stunning!!

These icons are reproduced according to Silk Screen Technique.
Matte Gold Leaves
Once the wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our crafters carefully apply the Matte Gold Leaves into the prepared surface.
A mounting point is placed at the back of the icon, along with the Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. Each of our icons bears the studio's unique title and logo.
Theme application & final details
Once the Matte Gold Leaves are applied, the Silk Screen technique is implemented. The theme is painted mechanically directly on the prepared surface and our crafters finish the artwork by painting a delicate red border.
The icon goes through quality inspection and then is placed into a case. Finally it is carefully wrapped into our Protection Packaging and is ready to ship! The whole crafting and preparation procedure takes about 4-9 business days from the moment you place your order.
