The icon is gorgeous! A bit larger than I anticipated, which is nice. The quality is fantastic, the gold leaf looks beautiful under candlelight. This was purchased as a gift for a friend from our church and she's going to love it. Alex also included a note and a magnetic icon of the Theotokos.
The only complaint is that international shipping is a pain with so many delays, but that has nothing to do with Alex, and is understandable. So just keep in mind that if you're outside of Greece then it will take a while.
Altogether we're very very happy and will definitely be ordering again. Blessed Pascha!

Silk Screen Technique
These icons are reproduced according to Silk Screen Technique.
Matte Gold Leaves
Once the wood panel is cut to the desired dimensions, our crafters carefully apply the Matte Gold Leaves into the prepared surface.
A mounting point is placed at the back of the icon, along with the Certificate of Authenticity and Quality. Each of our icons bears the studio's unique title and logo.
Theme application & final details
Once the Matte Gold Leaves are applied, the Silk Screen technique is implemented. The theme is painted mechanically directly on the prepared surface and our crafters finish the artwork by painting a delicate red border.
The icon goes through quality inspection and then is placed into a case. Finally it is carefully wrapped into our Protection Packaging and is ready to ship! The whole crafting and preparation procedure takes about 4-9 business days from the moment you place your order.
