This icon is absolutely beautiful!

There are a lot of beautiful icons of Christ on this site. I did my due diligence before buying and went with this particular icon. For me, it captures and conveys the authority and majesty of Christ. It's a beautiful icon. The colours of Jesus' garments are beautiful, a blend of blue and purple hues that themselves somehow convey regality and even divinity. But for me, it's the expression on Christ's face here. Calm, serene, all-knowing, loving, full of authority. It's a truly stunning icon and one that captures Christ's essence, I feel, which is what I was looking for. The icon has made a beautiful addition to my home office, where I will be able to take a moment to look at Christ throughout the day. What a blessing! Thanks Agiografia!

This was purchased as a gift for my mother. It's a beautiful icon. The gold leaf background and red border give it a premium feel. The wood itself is about an inch thick. Good and sturdy, with a pop out stand at the back so it can be stood up on any surface. There is also a hole at the back for easy wall hanging. Theotokos and Jesus Christ have wonderful detail. The green is an unusual colour for Mary but nice. I personally like the Orthodox icon art style, and will consider buying some icons for myself in future. I went for the 15 x 19 cm, the smallest size on offer, but as you can see in the photo, it's about the size of a standard book cover. This is ideal, in my opinion. I was also pleasantly surprised by how swiftly this product arrived. Thanks, Agiografia!
